What is up with those Denver KINGZ? A 2nd visit to The Maury Povich Show this time it was "RUSTY NAILS", A Canadian Documentary was filmed featuring The KINGZ, Elvis HerSelvis (Leigh Crow) visited from San Francisco, MTV Documentary on KINGZ filmed, WESTWORD features the SouthTown Kings in a two page spread by Nancy Wadsworth.
WOW! It has been busy for the KINGZ. Last year started off with a bang when Joie Casanova and Simon Blue were invited to appear on the Maury Povich show, giving the Denver Boyz some national exposure, this year our own RUSTY NAILS was invited to the yearly gender bending TV special. Shortly thereafter a Canadian film crew included a KINGZ show in a documentary that they were filming about a lesbian Colorado woman who is a big fan of the show. In October Leigh Crow flew in to be a celebrity performer and judge at the Duke of Denver competition. A documentary film crew spent a week in Denver following around our KINGZ for an upcoming Drag King documentary for MTV. Most recently the KINGZ were the subject of an excellent article in Denver's WESTWORD weekly in a fabulous 2 page spread by writer Nancy Wadsworth.

Tom Fullery goes on the road:
Our own Tommy Boy was invited to Cedar Rapids Iowa by the fine folks at CLUB BASIX. Tom and our own production manager- Zoa were excited to represent the KINGZ on the road. The show was a hit and they LOVED Tom! We expect to have some Cedar Rapids performers come to Denver and Tom will be going back with some more of our boyz very soon. Leigh Crow is a pioneer being among the first of the Drag Kings in the country to start the phenomenon that is now worldwide. We feel very fortunate to have played host to such a very nice person and a fabulous performer such as Leigh.
